Eastern Counties Region players produced a good performance in all three competitions at the English Petanque Association Titles in Bury St Edmunds.
Reigning champion Sofiane Lachani won four out of five games to finish eighth, while Trevor Blows, from Stisted played some of the best petanque of his life to sit in tenth place with three wins.
Blows finished a very creditable 17th and was the Eastern Region's second highest-placed player.
Alan Brazier finished 24th, one place ahead of Simon Doble in 25th, with three wins apiece.
Filippa-Jane Tanburn finished with one win in 74th place, while David Cracknell was 76th.
In the doubles, Keith Flack and Dean Little met eastern region team-mate Lachani and Kent's Nic Baxter, with Little and Flack rounding off an excellent day's play with a 13-8 win.
Of the other Eastern Region players, Simon Doble and Frank Britt finished sixth, Blows and Lorne Gibson were 41st, while David Cracknell and Tanburn were 64th.
In the mixed doubles, Alan Brazier and Sharon Hunt finished sixth, with Clare Courtney and Chris Parr 15th.
