COLCHESTER United had to settle for a draw at Stevenage, on Good Friday.
Connor Hall put the U's ahead in the 18th minute, only for Alex Gilbey to score against his former club early in the second half to earn the hosts a point.
The 1-1 draw leaves Colchester a point above the League Two relegation zone, with six games remaining.
Colchester fans have their say on a fourth successive draw, for Ben Garner's side.

Need to win at the end of the day, not good enough. Crewe is a must win and if not, we are bound for Gateshead on a Tuesday Night
Anthony Clachan
Very very worried about this team atm still can't win games and it's just not good enough it really isn't and being one point of the relegation zone doesn't help either

It’s a point we didn’t expect so that’s a positive. Season will be defined by Crewe, Crawley & Sutton games. Hall & Ashley excellent. Hopper again offered little but he didn’t give up against tough opponents. Momentum with other teams but still in our hands.

Drawing away to top teams is great and shows we must have something but the home form against mediocre/poor sides is going to take us out of this league unfortunately. Goalie not good enough and still have nothing up front. Garner panicking playing Sears but understandably so tbh

Wasn’t at the game but very very worried

A fantastic point away to one of the best teams in the league. Forget the past 9 months, the season begins now.

Ironically scored when totally under the cosh, after that saw out the first half pretty well but conceded a pretty poor equaliser (or so it appeared from away end) looked like O’Hara should have done better. With other teams around us winning it makes it look 2 points dropped.

In isolation it’s a very good point. But with others around us winning it’s only a positive if we get a win Monday.
