FORMER Colchester schoolboy Elkan Baggott locked swords with the world champions when he played for Indonesia against Argentina.
The 20-year-old Ipswich Town youngster, who attended St Benedict's Catholic College, gained his 16th international cap as his side were beaten 2-0 by the 2022 World Cup winners.
The central defender played the full 90 minutes against Argentina, for whom goals from Juventus' Leandro Paredes and Christian Romero of Tottenham Hotspur sealed victory.

Baggott now has 16 international caps and also played in Indonesia's draw against Palestine, last week.

Baggott spent most of last season out on loan from Ipswich.
He was at League One side Cheltenham Town between January and March.

And prior to that, Baggott spent the first half of the last campaign at League Two club Gillingham, where he made 29 appearances, scoring three goals.
The centre-back signed a new three-year deal at Portman Road, last June.
Baggott was the first Indonesian to play in the English Football League when he made his Ipswich league debut in a game at Rotherham United in April, 2022.
