COLCHESTER United drew 1-1 with Bradford City at the JobServe Community Stadium, on Saturday afternoon.
Tom Hopper's fine strike just before the hour earned the U's a point, after Andy Cook had given the Bantams a first-half lead.
Colchester fans have their say as Danny Cowley's side came from behind to grab a point for the second successive game.

weren’t great first half but sooo much better second half, so a lot of encouragement there; a management team that could see the issue and tweak it so that we could be the better team second half rather than stick blindly to plan A gives me cause for optimism. Big games to come!

Great second half, some great performances from Edwards & Wilkinson. Richardson looks to be a good signing! Just need to get our first win.

There was always the worry that given the hype around the game in the build up it wouldn’t necessarily live up to it. First half was poor , but whatever was said at halftime worked and we played much better second half. Pleased for Tom Hopper getting his goal. On to Friday now

Old adage of a game of two halves poor first came out and fought second half think we deserved the point. Let’s keep building.
Just plain old me
Poor first half, much better second half. Unfortunately Salford won so the gap is 2 point and we played a game more.. going to have to start winning or we could still be in trouble

Didn’t get the result we hoped for maybe and the 1st half was more BG than DC, but the second 45 was better. Tom Hopper is rejuvenated and Connor W looks promising. Loads to do yes, but a step on the road with those big games coming up.

Good performance overall against a really good Bradford that pressed high and outplayed us first half Well deserved goal for Hopper and encouraging 2nd half,Long way to go for this group, we still lack the talent but the extra 20% of spirit the Cowleys have gave us the point

We still look too easy to score against and unfortunately still lacking in confidence. Poor decisions in the final third costing us opportunities to score. Better but not by much in the last 2 games. Real shame Taylor couldn’t stay.
Andy Hart
First half we were too timid, not comfortable in possession anywhere outside of our own 18 yard box. Second half was completely different. We went for it a lot more and got what we deserved. Could have won it. It’s refreshing to have a management team that can spot the issues.

1st half poor in possession. Midfield looked timid but it’s great to finally have a manager who can adjust & affect the game positively. Hopper looks a different player. Wilkinson has real creativity. Defence stood up well to a tough opponent. Building in the right direction.

Positive second half. First half was similar to the rest of the season, a lot of backwards passing and not much threat. Second half was so much better.
