COLCHESTER United suffered a painful defeat at in-form Harrogate Town after conceding a stoppage-time goal.
Jack Muldoon's strike deep into stoppage-time condemned the U's to their first loss under Danny Cowley, since he took over as head coach at the start of last month.
Colchester fans have their say on a disappointing result for their team, despite an impressive performance.

Awful way to lose but overall a good performance & plenty to be encouraged by. Dominated the 1st half. Smith the standout again. Keep playing like that and results will come.
Graham Parker
It seems we only play for 90 minutes. After that, the opposition usually score…And we can’t put away the chances when they occur.
Michael O'Brien
Lack of a replacement for Taylor starting to haunt us. The fact that the Brothers Cowley have only managed one win perhaps tells us that the issues are not just superficial.
Adam
Frustrating, lacked a goalscorer.

Good 1st half. Not taking our chances cost us. Players put in a shift. Got caught out with long ball over the top to often. Hard to see why Harrogate are top form team cos we played them off the park. If only we could find the net

Was a bitter pill to swallow losing like that. It was a game that had to be seen to fully understand. Some positive to take away. while the stats don’t lie; they don’t tell the whole story and the improvements are there and looking better each game, but need to take our chances
Jonathan Brown
Can see vast improvements under DC but lacked conviction in the final third. Very cruel to lose at the end like that. Deserved at least a point.
Steve Duckling
Hugely disappointing to lose what would have been a well earned point late on but we often concede late goals. Good first half and naturally the hosts were going to apply more pressure in the 2nd half. Good to see more shots at goal but not being clinical enough has cost us
Jeff Coates
Very disappointing to lose in the manner we did. Still coming down to the basics which we keep getting wrong...no strikers, can't score, goalkeeping howlers etc. I don't see us climbing much higher up the table but we should have enough to stay up.

Point lost after a promising performance against an inform side. You'll only win matches if you take your chances & we are sadly lacking in that area currently. Goodman made some great saves, but 1 mistake has proven costly. The life of a keeper!
Dan Devine
Thought we looked confident and on the front foot, but a disappointing result in the end. Don't think we'll go down playing like that and a lot to build from. Night and day compared to a few months ago.
