COLCHESTER United lost 1-0 to Harrogate Town in their latest League Two clash, on Saturday afternoon.

Nice side! Strong side! Good football! But it still seems for me to be the same ColU 🤷‍♂️ even with the substitutes they still didn’t look different 93 minutes of intense football played with no goal mistake on 68th minute costs the U’s any points

Played well in the most. Team looked well balanced. A striker would be good. Brad needs to go on loan. Bishop fantastic

ANDY BOOTH

Many positives to take from the game. We were by far the better team and are playing good looking attacking football. The Harrogate keeper unfortunately did a very good job with a couple of our on target shots. The stats say 63% possession, but it felt like more.

SI COLLINSON

Yes the officials were bad, but we should have had the game out of sight in the first half. We were on top for most of the game and were guilty of not taking chances. Need a quick turn around and not to dwell on it. Go again Wednesday in the Cup.

DAVE B

Thought Harrogate defended well & had our number today. We created some chances & found their keeper on a good day, but felt Tovide & Hopper rarely stretched them with runs in behind which played into their hands. Macey should have done better but a poor header back. We go again!

Didn't make enough scoring chances despite being the much better team, a silly error cost us dearly and I think communication at the back was lacking a couple of times. Wishing the ref a safe journey home on the Harrogate bus.

SCOTT

We played good football but lacked that ruthless touch once we got in front of goal. 2 clear penalties not given and a 3rd you've seen given but we can't change that now and can only take the positives and move forward

DAVID CLAYTON

Frustrating but a good performance overall. Lack of a natural goal scorer will continue to hamper us. The 4 forwards we have are all similar & more suited to link up play than finishing. Would like to see Anderson start ahead of Egbo in these sort of games.

Unlucky to lose need something extra up front G Good ish moments, but no leadership on pitch, no strikers instinct. Just felt like we'd walk through them but couldnt finish. the referee was beyond poor however.

Played well, should have won. Need to take our chances. Sloppy goal to concede and an absolutely terrible referee

Worst team Iv ever seen come and beat us !!! Missed so many chances silly mistake but look a better side than last season !!!
