COLCHESTER United took a share of the spoils after drawing 1-1 at Accrington Stanley, on Saturday afternoon.
Ben Goodliffe came off the bench to rescue a point for Colchester, after Kelsey Mooney had given Accrington a first-half lead in what was a largely scrappy League Two affair.
Here are the views of U's fans, following the score draw at the Wham Stadium.
Si Collinson
Looked leggy and lethargic. Very poor first half, slight improvement in the second. Will happily take a point and move on to Saturday back on home soil
Steve Duckling
Without doubt our worst start 2 a game this season. Didn’t seem 2 have a plan in the first half which worked. 2nd half, with the changes, was much better and got a well earned point, although I felt we could have gone on to win with the momentum we had if the trouble didn’t start

No fluidity throughout the team, which we haven't really lacked in recent games, and very little goal threat, which we have. DC has to look at this formation because it leaves us open out wide which teams are exploiting. Play a flat back 4 with Goodliffe alongside Flanagan.
Stuart Garrard
Very happy to take away a point.
Big Will
First half abysmal. No other words. Smart substitutions saved a point for Colchester, Edwards and Read looked bright once on and Goodliffe must start over Hunt Saturday.
Sydney Wilson
Looked tired and toothless. Taylor has experience but needs fitness - could be huge for us if he stays fit. Would like another striker. Accrington carved us open 4/5 times and fortunately were very wasteful. Read to start from now on, he changed the game and Payne had an off day.
Georgina Davies
Why they keep starting read on the bench I'll never know, first half was frustrating, brought Taylor, read and goodliffe on and it changed. The ref made some awful decisions, tovide's shirt was pulled so many times and the player got away with it. Onto Saturday
David Clayton
Have to be happy with a point, particularly after a sloppy, tired 1st half. Taylor made a positive impact. Would like to see Read in for Woodyard next week as we will likely dominate possession. Decision making in wide areas has to improve.
Allen Smith
A draw not so bad but we need to win games now, we will slip into bad habits if we keep conceding
Dave Warren
I know we don’t know the full story but the incident with Samson really overshadowed it for me. Imagine going to work and being racially abused for doing a good job at it. I was particularly upset by his dejection at the end and keenness to get to the dressing room. Really upset!
