COLCHESTER United played out a 1-1 draw with Bradford City, on Saturday afternoon.
Andy Cook gave the Bantams a first-half lead but Jamie McDonnell netted his first-ever professional goal deep into stoppage time to rescue a point for the U's, at the JobServe Community Stadium.
The result leaves Colchester in 21st place in the League Two table, two points above the relegation zone.
Here are the views of U's fans, following the score draw.

Bradford got what they came for score one shut up shop waste time and basically cheat. It’s a sad game of football sometimes, when the opposition don’t play football. And as for Andy Cook and his antics with his reaction to the crowd, liked to have seen his face at the end
Andy Kettle
Carried on the momentum from midweek and looking at the stats, totally dominated the game. Still lacking that final touch to put the ball away more often but defence looked a lot more solid. Need to turn these draws in to wins. Up the U’s

Take a late equaliser, made even sweeter as their time wasting lead to so much stoppage time. But we need to stop conceding soft goals. Getting harder to beat, but need to start winning. Jamie McDonnell was class. Should have been MOTM.

Bradford had no intention of playing football, they were wasting time from the first 30 seconds! They were awful, dirty, time wasting and continually slowed down play! But very difficult to play against! They deserved nothing from that game!
Steve Marriage
Better tempo in the team. Looked a threat, but overplayed too much again for me around their box. Bradford were poor and we gave away another soft goal from a set piece, after they went close just before from a corner. Must start winning at home or we’ll be in trouble.

Fully deserved but we really have to stop giving the opposition a goal when we are fully on top. This time looks like a bit of luck and the confidence could flow.

Much better. Good energy, commitment. McDonnell was everywhere. Flanagan & Donnelly played well. Anderson looking sharp, JK looked dangerous. Just need more clear-cut chances created. Samson, Owura & Bishop will be welcome returns to the squad. Think January window is crucial
Danny
In a game where our usual stars such Taylor, Egbo and Jack didn’t really play well imo, I think we did well, especially when the subs came on. Hopefully will get better now the injured are returning and if everyone is on their A game.
David Clayton
Fully deserved. Played well. Starting to look better going forward as the injuries reduce. Another poor goal to concede but the overall performance was there. McDonnell outstanding in midfield.
