In division one, Essex Cricketers beat Rayne 3-2 thanks to goals from Newson, Barnes and Kidd.
Despite a brace from Denney and Hammond’s strike, Stebbing lost 4-3 to High Street Rangers, for whom Threadgold, Lee and Warren were on target.
Coggeshall Sunday enjoyed a brilliant 5-1 win over Sporting 77 in division two.
Scorers for the winners were Crosdale, Carter, K Carter and Phillips (2) with a consolation goal from Mark Sadler.
Witham Wonderers lost 4-3 against Red Lion Sports.
The only division three match to be played saw Headhunters beat Tolleshunt Knight Eagles 4-3.
Scorers for the winners were Tunbrudge, Buist and Ferridge (2).
The Malcolm Foy Trophy second round clash was played in cold conditions.
Headsmen secured a great 6-3 win over Essex Police, whose consolation goals came from Jack Elford and Adam Dowsell.
Sporting 77 Reserves beat Panfield Bell Rovers by the same scoreline, thanks to goals from Phillip, Jorden Palmer, Henderson, Cook and Josh Palmer (2). Panfield’s consolation goals from Bowen, Reeve and Meredith.
