Jim Magilton stormed out of a press conference this morning after being angered by a question about a much-publicised meeting with some of his Ipswich Town players.
The Blues boss had been annoyed by reports he held a meeting with eight of his first-team players - the ones he supposedly wanted to shape and build his team around.
Magilton denied it was a special or secret gathering - just that it was a routine chat with some of his squad.
And when asked if he wanted to comment further at this morning’s weekly press briefing, he said: “That’s it.
“I have nothing else to say.”
He then walked out of the conference, for the local written media, before doing his usual radio and TV interviews.
Ipswich are without a trio of suspended players - defenders Ben Thatcher and Alex Bruce and midfielder Owen Garvan - for tomorrow’s Coca-Cola Championship trip to Coventry City.
Captain Gareth McAuley has recovered from a shin injury but David Wright has a tight hamstring problem and is the only doubt. Pim Balkestein is on stand-by to replace him.
