We still believe.
Midfielder Anthony Wordsworth is adamant Colchester United can still win promotion to the Coca-Cola Championship, despite their miserable recent run of form.
The U's host fellow promotion-chasers Millwall in a lunchtime showdown at the Weston Homes Community Stadium this afternoon, kick-off 1pm.
Aidy Boothroyd's side are in desperate need of three points, after going seven games without a victory in League One.
A 2-0 defeat at Exeter City was another body blow for the U's but Wordsworth insists the club's players are still feeling upbeat.
Wordsworth told the Gazette: “Everybody is disappointed with the recent results but we have to pick ourselves back up.
“We have a game today and it's good that we haven't had to wait long to play another game.
“Everybody still believes that we can do it and everyone is still positive.
“We know what we can do and we've proved it in the past – we know we can overcome this.”
