Aidy Boothroyd is adamant that Colchester United’s promotion destiny is still in their own hands.
The U’s host second-placed Swindon Town at the Weston Homes Community Stadium tomorrow.
Colchester are desperate to end a run of eight games without a win, in Coca-Cola League One.
Boothroyd is reluctant to describe their clash with the Robins as a must-win game.
However, the U’s boss admitted time is running out to claim a coveted play-off place.
Boothroyd said: “I wouldn’t say it’s a “must-win” game.
“Any game you go in to, you want to win."
