Ipswich Town's impressive run of form came to an abrupt halt after losing 3-0 at Nottingham Forest.
The Blues were still in the game during a goal-less first half and could have been in front, were it not for missed chances by David Norris and Connor Wickham.
But Forest stepped up a gear after the break and scored twice in quick succession through Luke Chambers and Guy Moussi.
Robert Earnshaw then added a late third.
Town missed further chances through Daryl Murphy and Norris and their misery was complete following an ankle ligament injury sustained by Damien Delaney.
