Kevin Lisbie will be available for Colchester United's trip to Hartlepool United on Saturday, after his controversial red card against Charlton Athletic was overturned.
The U's striker had been set to miss at least three of the U's forthcoming games, after he was given his marching orders at the Valley for an alleged headbutt on Addicks midfielder, Nicky Bailey.
However, after a Football Association disciplinary panel reviewed the incident this afternoon, they have overturned the decision and he will not be banned, after all.
The news is a big boost to Colchester manager Aidy Boothroyd, as he attempts to secure his side a play-off place in Coca-Cola League One.
