BULLISH Aidy Boothroyd is refusing to accept that Colchester United’s play-off dream is over.
The U’s boss still strongly believes his side can clinch a top-six place in Coca-Cola League One.
Colchester head into tomorrow’s home match against struggling Tranmere Rovers with the odds stacked against them.
They know a win is essential, if they are to keep their promotion hopes alive.
Boothroyd’s side lie six points off sixth-placed Huddersfield Town, with three games remaining.
But despite a run of only one win in 11 matches, the Colchester manager has vowed to keep fighting for a coveted play-off spot.
Boothroyd said: “We’re still very much in there – it’s not over yet."
