Colchester United boss Aidy Boothroyd will make changes, after their play-offs hopes were dashed.
The U's drew 1-1 with relegation-haunted Tranmere Rovers this afternoon, a result which means that they now cannot win promotion.
Boothroyd wants his side to finish the season well, with two games remaining.
And he is already looking ahead to next season and will make changes, after a run of one win in 12 matches left them facing another season in Coca-Cola League One.
Boothroyd said: “We have finished up short and there's no getting away from it.
“We plan and build for next year and make some changes, because that's important.
“We will add to what we have got, because we have a lot of good things going on here and build in pre-season.
“We have to learn from this and make sure that we come back stronger next year.
“It's easy to fell sorry for yourselves but that's not what I'm all about and I don't expect anybody else to be either.”
