Colchester United reserves host Stevenage at Maldon and Tiptree FC tonight (kick-off 7pm).
It will be the U’s second string’s first taste of totesport.com Combination League action in 2011.
Kayode Odejayi, Anthony Wordsworth, John White, Pat Baldwin and goalkeeper Carl Pentney are expected to start.
And recent signings Matt Vilhjalmsson and Conor Powell are also set to feature for Colchester.
U’s reserve team boss Richard Hall said: “We know it will be a tough game against Stevenage.
“They were quite physical when we went there earlier in the season and we’ll be ready for that this time.
“John Ward and Joe Dunne will both be there and it’s a chance for the players to impress them.”
