Colchester United slumped to another away defeat at Notts County tonight.
The U's were beaten 2-0 at a rain-sodden Meadow Lane, to slip to their fourth successive loss on their travels, in npower League One.
After David Mooney had hit the woodwork early on, Craig Westcarr gave County the lead, just before the midway point in the first half.
And when Nathan Clarke headed into his own net from a Conor Clifford corner eight minutes before the break, the U's had it all to do.
Skipper Kem Izzet and Lloyd James were introduced at half-time and Colchester improved in the second half.
Kayode Odejayi and Lloyd James both went close but the U's eventually fell to defeat.
