Colchester United have completed the signing of Ipswich Town youngster Tom Eastman.
The Colchester-born centre-half has penned a two-year deal with the U's, after leaving Portman Road.
Eastman, 19, made his senior debut for Town on the final day of the 2009-10 season against Sheffield United, at Portman Road.
He has made a dozen appearances for Town this season but has not figured for them since playing in their defeat at Hull City in November and did not figure under current manager Paul Jewell.
