Karl Duguid feels it is up to Colchester United's players to give their supporters something to cheer about, this weekend.
The U's host promotion-chasing Sheffield Wednesday at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, on Saturday.
They are looking to give their fans a lift, following the hugely disappointing 4-1 defeat at Bury, on Easter Monday.
Speaking in his weekly Gazette column, Duguid said: "It's a massive game for us against Sheffield Wednesday, this weekend.
"It’s one to look forward to, especially on the back of a poor result at Bury.
"I’m sure it’ll be a great atmosphere at the ground and it’s also down to us as players on the pitch to help create that and get everyone going.
"I think it’s a good game for us to come back to and we want to finish as high as we possibly can.
"We also want to try and get some momentum to take us into next season and it’s up to us now.
"We’re in a position where we want to push on."
