Lloyd James has snubbed the offer of a new deal at Colchester United.
The midfielder is considering his next move, after rejecting the contract offered to him by the U’s.
James, 24, who had a spell on loan at Crawley Town at the end of last season, will see his current deal expire next month.
And the former Southampton youngster could be on his way out of the Weston Homes Community Stadium, after turning down the chance to stay at Colchester.
