KANE Gilbert has announced he is leaving Halstead Town.
The prolific striker, who hit 37 goals for the Humbugs this season, is moving onto pastures new.
Writing on social media, Gilbert said: 'This was always gonna be tough. Everyone knows how much I love this club. @MarkMcLean1976 is building something special and I’m gutted I’m not going to be part of it but the time has come for me to move on.

Gilbert's goals helped Halstead finish tenth in the Essex Senior League table, this season.
