BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent have completed the signing of ex-Colchester United youngster Adam Bailey-Dennis.

The experienced defender has linked up with the Pitching In Isthmian League division north side, ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Bailey-Dennis will add experience and height to the R's backline, as they look to push for promotion back to the premier division.

Writing on social media, R's boss Brett Munyard said: 'Delighted to have Adam on board! Brilliant role model for the younger players and a proper defender!'.

Bailey-Dennis started his career at home-town club Colchester, within their academy set-up.

The 33-year-old centre-half has since had spells at clubs such as Braintree Town, Chelmsford City, AFC Sudbury and most recently, Leiston.

Braintree have signed George Langston, ahead of their return to the National League.

Defender Langston has joined the Iron, after being released by fellow top-flight side Eastleigh at the end of last season.

The centre-back came through the Watford academy.
