BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent are looking for a new manager after Brett Munyard left the club with immediate effect.

Munyard had been in charge of the Pitching In Isthmian League division north side for five seasons but the R's are now on the lookout for a new boss.

Ryan Salter has been placed in charge of first-team duties at North Road, following Munyard's departure.

Munyard took charge of 139 matches for Brightlingsea, with a win percentage of 37 per cent.

His final game in charge came last Saturday, a 0-0 draw at Mildenhall Town, in Pitching In Isthmian League division north and he leaves them with the club situated ninth in the division.

In a statement, Brightlingsea said: 'The club wishes to place on record its gratitude and thank you to Brett for everything he has done for the club during his tenure.

'No further comments will be made'.

Brightlingsea's first game without Munyard at the helm will be this Saturday when they host Sporting Bengal United in the league, at North Road.
