The snow has wrecked the hopes of non-league football fans of seeing any action this weekend.
The expected cancellations came on Friday morning for sides across north and mid Essex.
Stanway Rovers and Witham Town had been due to feature in the FA Vase third round against Stansted and Lancing respectively.
However, the white blanket at the Hawthorns and on the south coast has put paid to their hopes of getting a game.
Witham's game has already been rearranged for December 11, while Stanway are looking to get their tie played on Wednesday.
In the Blue Square Bet, leaders Braintree Town's trip to Dartford fell foul of the weather and the Siberian blast has also postponed Maldon and Tiptree's Ryman League division one north game at Wingate and Finchley and Heybridge Swifts' home game against Leyton.
The Ridgeons League has been similarly hard struck, with Wivenhoe Town's home game in the premier division against Ely City and FC Clacton's trip to Walsham le Willows getting the thumbs down, while Halstead Town's game at Stowmarket is also a victim.
