ESSEX'S Police's Colchester team have urged footie fans not to get carried away during England's Euro 2020 clash with Ukraine on Saturday.
The Three Lions take on Ukraine in Rome on Saturday night in the quarter final of the competition.
There is renewed optimism about England's chance of going all the way this year - with some believing it really IS coming home in 2021.
During the 2018 World Cup in Russia, celebrations spilled out on to Head Street as England beat Sweden in the quarters of that competition.
But Essex Police are warning residents not to overdo the celebrations, or commiserations.
Essex Police Colchester posted a humourous message on Facebook, urging residents not to overdo it.

They said: "We all know that there is a big sporting event this weekend. #itscominghome
"I am of course talking about the first ever official home game of Harwich Town Bay Area Blues baseball team on Sunday.
"Here are a few thoughts for getting through it:
"Try to be sensible and not get too carried away.
"If you’re going to have a drink, drink responsibly! at least that way you might remember the game the next morning.
"Let’s support the team and enjoy the experience.
"***Edit: I've just been informed that there is also some sort of International Football thingy on the day before but i can’t see any one being as excited for that one. Same rules apply though.
"A final deep though from Rob Beckett 'No matter what happens in your life you'll still be on the floor eating chicken'."
